| About the Artist |
Dawna Uchtmann, a California native, has been sketching and painting since she was a youngster. Her preferred medium involves the use of acrylic on canvas. She graduated from Humboldt State University in 1994 with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art and an emphasis in Photography. She paints out of her home studio in Greer, South Carolina. |

Some art enthusiasts consider her work to be analogous to the images of Andy Warhol and display elements of the divisionist technique. In addition to painting, Dawna has worked as a professional photographer. She has competed at various state and regional art competitions. |
